POUND® is a full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. This 45 min workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and Isometric poses. Burn between 400 and 800+ calories, strengthen and sculpt infrequently used muscles, and drum your way to a leaner, slimmer physique – all while rocking out to your favourite music! Through continual upper body motion using our lightly weighted drumsticks, called Ripstix™, you’ll turn into a calorie-torching drummer, POUNDing off pounds as each song flies by. POUND® is a great way to improve your cardio for your pole and aerial classes!
Please bring your indoor sneakers or gym shoes to class or you can go barefoot too. We provide the POUND® proprietary Ripstix® for our students in class.
