Risk Assessment: Screening Questions

Screening questions that you will be required to answer before taking an in studio class.

  1. Within the last 10 days have you been diagnosed with COVID-19 or had a test confirming you have the virus?
  2. Are you currently awaiting COVID-19 test results?
  3. Do you live in the same household with, or have you had close contact with someone who in the past 14 days has been in isolation for COVID-19 or had a test confirming they have the virus?
  4. Have you had any one or more of these symptoms today or within the past 24 hours, which is new or not explained by another reason?
    • Fever, Chills, or Repeated Shaking/Shivering
    • Cough
    • Sore Throat
    • Shortness of Breath, Difficulty Breathing
    • Feeling Unusually Weak or Fatigued
    • Loss of Taste or Smell
    • Muscle pain
    • Headache
    • Runny or congested nose
     
  5. If you answered “YES” to any of the above questions, you may have been exposed to or have contracted COVID-19. Please do not visit the studio for class and email management right away for assistance adjusting your class schedule.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
  • Social distancing must be adhered to at all times.
  • Masks must be worn by staff & clients at all times during indoor classes. Masks are not required for outdoor classes.
  • Absolutely no contact is permitted between staff & clients, except for safety or emergency reasons.
  • For indoor classes, designated movement pods have been taped off in each movement room. Students must remain in their designated movement area at all times during class.
  • Emergency Maximum Capacity for our facility is 25 persons or 30% of normal capacity limits. Pole classes are capped at eight (8) students. Aerial classes are capped at five (5) students. Outdoor classes are capped at 8-10 students depending on the class type offered.
  • Staff must follow the daily cleaning check-list for required procedures when opening the studio for classes, during operating hours, and when closing the studio.
  • All commonly touched surfaces are wiped down with disinfectant between each class, or as soon as practically possible.
  • Movement rooms are thoroughly cleaned after each class including, but not limited to – sweeping and steam mopping of floors; disinfecting pole or aerial equipment; disinfecting any other used equipment; disinfecting of all commonly touched surfaces; cleaning & disinfecting of all restrooms.
  • Air Oasis Air Purifiers must be running at all times while the studio is occupied. Each movement room has two commercial grade units (900sq/ft reach each unit) as well as one in the lobby.
  • A disinfecting fogger is used at the end of each evening, once the space is no longer occupied and classes are finished for the evening.
  • Staff & clients must thoroughly wash their hands and/or utilize a hand sanitizer station upon entering the studio. Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout each facility.
  • Clients must bring their own yoga/fitness mat to the studio for class. Yoga mats are available for sale if needed.
  • Aerial fabric is available for 30-day rentals for silks, sling, and aerial yoga classes. We are no longer able to provide these for general use due to the extensive measures needed to properly clean & disinfectant the fabric. Students are welcome to bring their own aerial fabric to class.
  • Equipment sharing is not permitted. If a class requires studio equipment, each client will have their own item(s) for their use only during class. Lyras (aerial hoops) have been powder coated to allow for quick & easy cleaning between classes.

Yes – masks are required to be worn at check-in & temperature checks for both indoor & outdoor classes. Masks must be worn at all times during indoor classes. If you forget your mask, we have disposable masks available for your use. We’re sorry, but failure to comply with this policy will result in you not being admitted to class and your class credit being deducted with no refunds.

Yes – you must bring your own yoga mat to class as we will no longer be providing mats for general use. We have yoga mats for sale in the studio if you forget yours. For safety reasons, mats are required for aerial yoga classes.

No – our studio has been reconfigured to allow for each student to have their own pole during class. Poles are spaced 7-8 feet apart and each participant will have their own movement pod for class.

Please do not arrive more than 5-10 minutes prior to class start time. Due to DHHS regulations, the lobby will not be available as a waiting area before or after classes. Staff will be using 30 minutes between classes to clean & disinfect movement rooms; please allow staff to have this time uninterrupted so that we can service you quickly & efficiently.

In order to comply with the North Carolina DHHS regulations, we have reconfigured the studio to provide the safest environment possible. Studio B and Studio Y are temporarily closed, due to their smaller size. Studio C has been changed to the aerial room, allowing for five (5) students. Studio A has been changed to the pole room, allowing for eight (8) students. Our lobby area has been cleared and can no longer be used as a waiting area in between classes.
