Risk Assessment: Screening Questions

Screening questions that you will be required to answer before taking an in studio class.

  1. Within the last 10 days have you been diagnosed with COVID-19 or had a test confirming you have the virus?
  2. Are you currently awaiting COVID-19 test results?
  3. Do you live in the same household with, or have you had close contact with someone who in the past 14 days has been in isolation for COVID-19 or had a test confirming they have the virus?
  4. Have you had any one or more of these symptoms today or within the past 24 hours, which is new or not explained by another reason?
    • Fever, Chills, or Repeated Shaking/Shivering
    • Cough
    • Sore Throat
    • Shortness of Breath, Difficulty Breathing
    • Feeling Unusually Weak or Fatigued
    • Loss of Taste or Smell
    • Muscle pain
    • Headache
    • Runny or congested nose
     
  5. If you answered “YES” to any of the above questions, you may have been exposed to or have contracted COVID-19. Please do not visit the studio for class and email management right away for assistance adjusting your class schedule.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
  • Social distancing should be adhered to at all times.
  • As of June 15, 2022 masks are no longer required to be worn while inside the studio or during class.
  • There will be limited contact is permitted between staff & clients, except for safety or emergency reasons.
  • For indoor classes, designated movement pods have been taped off in each movement room. Students are encouraged to stay within their designated movement area at all times during class.
  • The state no longer requires fitness centers to adhere to an Emergency Maximum occupancy status. Pole classes will return to a max of two (2) persons per pole, effective July 1, 2022. Aerial classes will remain at a max of five (5) students per class (no equipment sharing)
  • Staff must follow the daily cleaning check-list for required procedures when opening the studio for classes, during operating hours, and when closing the studio.
  • All commonly touched surfaces are wiped down with disinfectant between each class, or as soon as practically possible.
  • Movement rooms are thoroughly cleaned after each class including, but not limited to – sweeping and steam mopping of floors; disinfecting pole or aerial equipment; disinfecting any other used equipment; disinfecting of all commonly touched surfaces; cleaning & disinfecting of all restrooms.
  • Air Oasis Air Purifiers must be running at all times while the studio is occupied. Each movement room has two commercial grade units (900sq/ft reach each unit) as well as one in the lobby.
  • The studio is professionally deep-cleaned once a month by a licensed cleaning company.
  • Staff & clients must thoroughly wash their hands and/or utilize a hand sanitizer station upon entering the studio. Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout each facility.
  • Clients are strongly encouraged to bring their own yoga mats to class.
  • Aerial fabric is available for 30-day rentals for silks, sling, and aerial yoga classes. We are no longer able to provide these for general use due to the extensive measures needed to properly clean & disinfectant the fabric. Students are welcome to bring their own aerial fabric to class.

As of June 15, 2022 masks are longer required to be worn within the studio or during class. This is in compliance with both state & CDC current guidelines in regards to COVID safety practices. Unvaccinated persons should continue to wear a mask while at the studio, out of respect for their fellow classmates & the Aradia staff.

We strongly encourage students to bring their own yoga/workout mats with them to the studio. We do have mats available for use during class, for no fee, if needed.

Effective July 1, 2022 all pole classes will return to a max of two (2) students per pole. Poles are spaced 7-8 feet apart and each participant (or pair of participants) will have their own movement pod for class.

Please do not arrive more than 5-10 minutes prior to class start time. Staff will be using 15 minutes between classes to clean & disinfect movement rooms; please allow staff to have this time uninterrupted so that we can service you quickly & efficiently.

In order to comply with the North Carolina DHHS regulations, we have reconfigured the studio to provide the safest environment possible. Studio C has been changed to the aerial room, allowing for five (5) students. Studio A has been changed to the pole room, allowing for sixteen (16) students. Studio Y has been reopened for group fitness, yoga, and non-appartus dance classes. Studio B has been converted to a reception area, office, and storage area of studio equipment and apparatus rentals.
